With open eyes 
and a new found strength
i am rising, rising up out of the void,
the void i stayed in for much too long

Following a voice that leads me,
getting closer and closer
until finally i am out of the void

When my eyes get used to the brightness
i look out for the one that has called me
but i am all alone

And this is the moment i realize,
that the voice has been my own,
telling me answers that have always
been hidden inside me all along.

So I take a first step
on the path
that is now so clear before me
walking down my own way at last

Leaving behind the void
not once looking back.


Con gli occhi aperti
e una fortezza ritrovata
mi sto alzando
innalzando dal vuoto
dal vuoto in cui sono stato troppo lungo

Seguendo una voce che mi guida,
avvicinandosi sempre di più
sino a finalmente sto fuori dal vuoto

Quando i miei occhi si avvezzano alla chiarezza
cerco per quello che mi ha chiamato
ma sono tutto da solo

In questo momento attuo
che la voce è stata la mia,
dicendomi risposte che hanno sempre
stato nascosto dentro di me.

Faccio un primo passo
sul sentiero che è adesso
così chiaro davanti a me
finalmente camminando
la mia strada propria

Lasciando alle spalle il vuoto
nemmeno una volta guardando indietro.
